The youth of the political party the Union for the Congolese Nation UNC Tshopo have just launched the Front Against the Referendum FCR. The relevant declaration was signed on Wednesday 20 September 2017 at the headquarters of this political party in Kisangani.
‘the country is in such terrible shape, the youth of Tshopo arise’ is the theme chosen by the young people of UNC Tshopo to accompany the launch of the Front Against the Referendum.
In their political declaration, UNC Tshopo young activists affirm their unanimous support for the political declaration of September 12 by their colleagues in Kinshasa, raising a cry of alarm in the face of the current crisis in the country.
They swear to oppose any maneuvers devoted to the organization of the referendum to perpetuate the Power in place.
The provincial coordinator of the FCR, Sébastien Asumani, appeals to defend the Constitution.
« It is a call to a patriotic awakening of all the inhabitants of Tshopo in particular and of all the young people of the DRC in general. We invite young people to defend the Constitution until the ultimate sacrifice, because it is a constitutional right, » said Sébastien Asumani.
These young people wish that all the social and political forces acquired to change in the Province of Tshopo join them to divert any attempts for the change or the revision of the Constitution
