The Swedish Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Maria Håkansson, calls on socio-political actors to remain committed to the 31 December agreement to organize peaceful, credible, Free and inclusive elections at the end of 2017. This call was launched on Tuesday 6 June during the celebration of the Swedish national holiday in Kinshasa.

According to the Swedish diplomat, the implementation of the agreement, in good faith and in all its components, is essential for the peace and stability of the DRC.
