« A third dialogue between the Rally and the Presidential Majority is coming, » « the Rally led by the tandem, Felix Tshisekedi and Pierre Lumbi would already agree. » These sentences and their similarities have been circulating in public opinion for a few days. « No! Nothing of that, » finally says Felix Tshisekedi banging his fists on the table to cut short the rumor:

« The Rally is unaware of the organization and holding of a third dialogue. The Rally, strongly bound to its new roadmap, adopted unanimously after its second conclave and its many subsequent pronouncements, rejects the idea of a third dialogue orchestrated and conveyed by Joseph Kabila and his acolytes, » hammered the press release signed by the President of the Rally, Felix Tshisekedi, and delivered hot to the press.

The Rally roadmap provides, among other things, the continuation and completion of the process envisaged by the agreement of the New Year’s Eve « without Joseph Kabila, » as recalled by the press release on 14 December.

Long before, it was the spokesman of the MP, Alain Atundu Liongo who spoke on the same issue. Like the Rally, the Presidential Majority does not envisage any third dialogue, according to him. It is getting ready instead for the future elections. Unlike the Rally, if these elections are not held before the end of 2017, the tripartite: Government, CNSA, CENI will sit for an extension, says the MP. The government and the CNSA were constituted in violation of the December 31 agreement, insists the Rally. The impasse is looming.
